1st Coldwater Scouting Group dates back to as early as 1911 where at that time the scouting movement was better known as Boy Scouts of Canada.

Scouts Canada, as we are known today, celebrated our 100th Anniversary in 2007. We are co-ed and welcome everyone in our scouting family – ADULTS, BOYS and GIRLS of all ages.

1st Coldwater Scouting Sections are active:

Scouting today offers more than hiking and camping… we offer our youth an opportunity to grow and gain self-esteem while having fun.
Although Scouts Canada is the country’s leading youth organization, it can be just as rewarding for adults. Parents are encouraged to participate by sharing the scouting adventures with their son or daughter,  or assisting in various ways by assisting our trained volunteers and can receive fully paid training in leadership roles
